Vacation 2011: Colorado Road Trip

We kept it simple this year and toured around to a few of the great areas of Colorado we had not seen.

1. Frisco, CO for 1 night
2. Crested Butte, CO for 3 nights
3. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, CO for 1 night
4. Glenwood Springs, CO for 1 night
5. Rifle Falls State Park, CO for 1 night

We actually had a great time. There were a few problems due to Grant's nap being messed up but both kids traveled well and seemed to have a good time and enjoy being with us for the week. All stops were massively kid friendly....which was planned and helped.

No pics from Glenwood Springs. We were too busy swimming in the hot springs and going down the water slide!

Birthday Blocks

Grant received blocks for his birthday and Morgan LOVES them!

Grant plays with them too but the detailed buildings and battles come from Morgan.

Grant's 2nd Birthday

Ohhh, it's slightly hard to believe that Grant is two years old. We're very excited about the progress he is making though. He had two low key celebrations. The first was with Doug's family over Memorial Weekend. The second was with the neighbors on his actual birthday.

His stats from his two year DR visit:
85% for height
not on the weight chart (I think there was a mistake at his weigh in though. I picked up our neighbor Neva who's three weeks younger than him and she was much lighter. Her mom said she was about 22 lbs which is what Grant weighed in at).
